Oiwa Garage Tech Note
"This filter fits the 1990 550cc Acty. On these little engines the change interval matters more than the filter brand; a hard-worked Kei truck is happier on shorter changes than a fancy filter run too long."
Frequently Asked Questions
Should I pre-fill the filter before fitting?
On this sideways mount you cannot fully fill it, but oil the gasket and part-fill what you can so the engine sees pressure sooner on the first start.
Can a cheap filter hurt this engine?
A filter with a weak anti-drainback valve lets oil drain back overnight, so the top end rattles on cold starts. A decent filter is cheap insurance.
What happens if the old gasket sticks to the block?
If the old rubber ring stays stuck and you spin a new filter over it, the doubled gasket blows out and dumps your oil - always check the old one came away.

I'm very happy with the exhaust. It sounds great. I was juggling between this one and Special K's behind the bumper exhaust and I ultimately decided on this one. Installation was easy and the only thing I would recommend is getting some washers because the holes on the flange for the growler are ovaled out to allow for adjusting the fitment. Without the washers the flange nuts were just a bit to small.
I buy almost all of my Honda Acty product through OIWA's website and have never had a complaint. I would highly recommend OIWA's website for any kei truck products.
