"The engine sits mid-ship, so the transmission comes out to reach the clutch - do the rear main seal and pilot bearing while you are in there. Align the disc before you bolt up the cover."

Frequently Asked Questions

Should I replace the pilot bearing and rear seal?

Yes. With the transmission out, do the pilot bearing and rear main seal so you are not back in there soon.

How do I know the clutch is worn?

Slip is the giveaway: in a high gear at low speed, ease the clutch out under throttle - if the revs climb faster than the truck, it is slipping. A grabbing, dragging, or high take-up point also means it is due.

What is in the kit?

Disc, cover, and bearing.
