Frequently Asked Questions

How do I check a brake hose?

Look for bulging, cracks, or weeping, especially where the hose flexes. A brake that drags or a soft pedal can come from a hose that has collapsed internally - inspect it under pressure.

Do I bleed the brakes after?

Yes. Any time you open a brake line, bleed the system and confirm a firm pedal before driving.
